A little vanity does not flatter us but is entirely forgivable. Why? Being motivated by beauty and choosing from equitable solutions the one that creates a perceived self enhancing aesthetic harmony, is not a crime. A quick view of our concealed motivation, however, makes us look silly and insecure instead of appealing, no? Regardless, a little vanity is a smallest of human weaknesses but be careful of growing dependence on surface satisfaction. Once you begin to make sacrifices for appearances, they will drain your energy, your time and your bank account. Indeed, expansive estates, elective plastic surgeries, and like pursuits that are void of the sincere intent to enable meaningful function and functioning, are for fools who lost their way.
